RpDoc® is designed to assist in preventing adverse reactions to drugs. Studies have shown that electronic prescription support can prevent incorrect prescriptions and reduce treatment costs.

The concept, functions and content were defined in collaboration with a committee chaired by Prof. Dr. D. Grandt. The project has received significant support from experts in the USA, who are international leaders in this area. We would like to thank John Horn (University of Washington, Seattle), Peter Glassmann (Center for Medication Safety, VA, Los Angeles) and David Bates (BWH, Harvard, Boston) in particular for their assistance.

RpDoc®

  • supports the physician preparing prescriptions for medications
  • increases patient safety with treatment by medication
  • does not restrict the freedom of the physician to prescribe treatment
